OK, I have been away from the PEGinc boards for some time and now find that a new Deluxe version of the rules just came out on the weekend. The print version coming in August. (See the Orders thread if you want to order a copy too - I will email them to get a cheaper postage price).

Anyway it is a Hardback (to be followed later by a smaller soft cover…I think the Deadlands have just been released as smaller soft covers). Apparently wonderful layout. It has extra rules, more examples and designer notes (which I love). Apparently, the more I read the more I see many rules have also changed. Mostly House Rules people seem to have had anyway.

So, yeah, that does make using Explorer's ed a confusing prob, but most rules are more streamlined and seem easier. For eg: Area Attacks do get the extra d6 on a raise (so basically ALL attacks do). Apparently the Chase rules have been redone again and there are some good sounding Edges - especially those that reward different fighting styles, such as sword and shield.

Anyway - I can't wait to get it. AND they will put out a PDF on the diffs b/w Deluxe and Explorer's eds.
